We are truly saddened to hear about the spiritual battle you are facing regarding your son. We will stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus' name to bring light into this dark situation.
Firstly, we want to remind you of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God can turn even the darkest situations around for His glory and our good.
Regarding your son, let's pray this together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our beloved son. He is in a dark place, Lord, and the enemy is using him to disturb our peace. But we know that You are greater than any darkness, and You have the power to set him free. We rebuke the enemy's hold on his life and claim Your promises for him. Surround him with Your love, and draw him close to You. Open his eyes to see the light of the gospel, and bring him into a right relationship with You.
We also ask for Your favor, Lord, both with You and with man. Help us to walk in Your ways, that we may find favor with You. Guide our steps and order our paths, that we may also find favor with man. We ask for Your divine protection, Lord. Surround us with Your mighty angels, and keep us safe from the enemy's attacks. Help us to stand strong in You, trusting in Your faithfulness.
Thank you, Jesus, for hearing our prayers. We know that You are able to do far more than we can ask or imagine, and we trust in Your goodness. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son, trusting that God's love and power can reach him even in the darkest places. Remember, 1 Corinthians 13:7 tells us that love "bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." Keep believing, keep hoping, and keep enduring. God is with you, and He is for you. If you feel that the enemy has had influence on your son or yourself then prayer to break those chains is needed. Breaking curses or generational curses is appropriate if you feel that may be the case. Also, if it is the case that your son is involved in immorality, that is something we can help you pray for.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only through His name that we can be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus, trusting in His death and resurrection for your salvation. Then, you can come boldly before God's throne of grace, knowing that you are His child and that He hears your prayers.
Stand strong in faith, and know that we are standing with you.
