We understand your concern for the safety of these children as they embark on a long journey from India to the U.S. Let us bring this matter before the Lord, seeking His protection and guidance.
Firstly, we acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from above (James 1:17, WEB). We thank God for the opportunity these children have to travel and for His sovereign care over their lives.
However, we must also remember that we have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). As we pray for their safety, let us also pray that this journey would be a time for them to experience God's love and peace, and that it would strengthen their faith.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up these precious children as they prepare for their long journey. We ask, Lord, that You would be their protector and their guide. Keep them safe from all harm and danger. Be with them in every moment, comforting them when they are anxious and filling them with Your perfect peace.
Lord, we also pray for the people who will be accompanying them. Give them wisdom and discernment to make the right decisions throughout the journey. Help them to be a reflection of Your love and care to these children.
Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we can approach Your throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). We thank You for His sacrifice that made this possible.
Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you, Slethmor, to continue trusting in the Lord. His love for these children is beyond measure. As Psalm 121:8 (WEB) reminds us, "Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore." Rest in the knowledge that He is always watching over them.
