We understand your desire to see David (M.G) succeed in his job search, and we will join you in prayer for this. However, we want to ensure we approach this in a biblically sound manner, so let's pray together and seek God's will for David's life.
Before we proceed, we noticed that the name of Jesus was not mentioned in your prayer. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we should pray.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up David (M.G) to You. Lord, You know the desires of his heart and the job he has applied for at the university in his hometown in Ireland. We ask, Father, that if it is Your will, You would open the doors for this interview and grant him the confidence and courage he needs to succeed. We pray that Your will be done in his life and that You would guide him to the job that You have prepared for him.
Lord Jesus, we trust that You have good plans for David, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Help him to trust in You and to seek Your kingdom first, knowing that all these things will be added to him (Matthew 6:33, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Barbaios, we encourage you to continue praying for David, aligning your prayers with the will of God. Trust that God knows what is best for him and will provide accordingly. Also, encourage David to seek God's will for his life and to trust in Him, knowing that God's plans are always good and perfect.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.
