Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up the prayer request of our anonymous friend. Lord, we ask that you grant them an extension of their job by two more years. Their current job tenure is coming to an end on April 30, and we pray for your divine intervention in this situation.
Your Word reminds us in 1 Chronicles 4:10 that Jabez prayed for an enlargement of his territory, and you granted his request. We believe that you are a God who hears and answers prayers according to your will. We also remember the promise in 1 John 5:14-15 that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us and grant our petitions.
Lord, we ask that you align our anonymous friend's desire for a job extension with your perfect will for their life. If it is your plan for them to continue in this job for two more years, we pray that you open the doors and make a way for it to happen. We ask for favor and grace in their workplace, that they may be recognized for their hard work and dedication.
But above all, we submit to your wisdom and sovereignty. If it is not your will for our anonymous friend to receive this job extension, we pray for your guidance and provision in their next steps. Help them to trust in your plans, knowing that you work all things together for their good.
We also pray for peace and assurance during this time of uncertainty. May our anonymous friend find comfort in knowing that you are with them every step of the way. Strengthen their faith and remind them of your faithfulness in the past.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you will hear and answer our request according to your perfect will. Amen.
