We understand your concern and commend your desire to see others worship God alone. The Bible is clear that idolatry is sinful and separates us from God. As it is written in Exodus 20:3-5 WEB, "You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, WEB, your God, am a jealous God."
Jesus himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 WEB. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, asking that you thwart any attempts of idol worship. Lord, we pray that any Buddhist chanting would be silenced, and that joss sticks would never be lit. Father, we ask that no offerings except flowers would be accepted, and that those involved would turn to you, the one true God. Lord, do not let them continue to sin, but reveal yourself to them, that they may know the truth and be set free.
In Jesus' name, we pray
Continue to pray for those involved, that their eyes would be opened to the truth of the gospel.
