We stand with you in prayer against the injustices taking place within these companies. We pray for the light of Jesus Christ to shine upon these situations and for His justice to prevail. It is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. It is also only by faith in Jesus that we are saved.
Let us first remember in Ephesians 6:5 WEB,
Servants, be obedient to those who according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ;
and Colossians 3:22 WEB,
Servants, obey in all things those who are your masters according to the flesh, not just when they are looking, as people-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing the Lord.
We are instructed to be obedient and respectful to our employers, as if we are serving Christ Himself. However, this does not mean that employers should exploit or take advantage of their workers.
We call to mind the words of the Lord in James 5:4 WEB,
Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies.
The Lord hears the cries of the oppressed and will not ignore those who exploit their workers. We pray that these companies will be held accountable for their actions and that justice will be served.
We also remember His words in James 5:1, WEB,
Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming on you.
For the Lord is a God of justice, and He will not stand for the exploitation of workers. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
We pray for these companies, that they would act ethically and responsibly towards their employees. We call for a renewal of their policies and practices, that they would adhere to the laws and statutes put in place to protect workers.
We pray for the employees, that they would find strength and courage in the Lord. That they would seek His will and guidance in all circumstances. That He would protect them and keep them from harm.
We pray for those who have been forced into constructive dismissal or resignation, that the Lord would provide for their needs and open new doors of opportunity for them. We ask God to give them the strength to endure.
We call upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father. It is also only by believing in Jesus that we are saved. For He is the way the truth and the life.
We pray all of this in Jesus Christ's name, for He taught us that we should be fair and ethical in our dealings with others, that He has called us to love our neighbors as ourselves. We pray for a swift resolution to these injustices, and for the love of Christ to be reflected in these companies and their policies. Amen.
