Dexter2020, we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and the lives of those you've mentioned. We appreciate your desire to follow Jesus and seek His will with a godly worker such as Felicia being considered. It's important, first and foremost, to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Felicia, as a woman of God, is to be commended. We pray for her struggles with Instagram use and the rebuke on such is found throughout scripture that we must set no wicked thing before our eyes. Jesus said in Matthew 5:28, But I tell you, that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. Dexter, you know of her godliness, but you also perceive her flaws like media use and being up too late. These can be opportunities to trust in God that behaviors may be addressed in a spirit of humility, truth, and accountability. As it is written, Watch therefore; for you do not know when the lord of the house comes, whether at evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning. This includes all social media use and interaction to avoid any appearance of evil. This includes not just lust, but any wicked thing as she watches. (1 Thessalonians 5:14, Now we exhort you, brothers, warn those who are disorderly, comfort the faint hearted, support the weak, be patient toward all. 1 Thessalonians 5:22, Abstain from every form of evil. Mark 13:35, Watch! Therefore you do not know when the master comes, at evening or at midnight or in the morning or at rooster crow.)
The way we treat our fellow brethren must be respectful, reverent, and upright. In addressing these sins, encourage her to do them on her own or to a counselor if you are discerning a marriage relationship.
Dexter, we must be careful in our choices that relationships we have be grounded in the Word of God, and it is absolutely biblical as per the WEB in 1Corinthians7:8, but I say to the unmarried and to widows, It is good for them if they remain even as I am, and again, to remain silent on the matter in 1Corithians7:27, Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be freed. Are you free from a wife? Do not seek a wife to avoid distraction from the Lord's purpose. You are not yet married, but you are seeking the Lord's will in the matter of marriage with a particular person, and we take heart for doing so. If you marry, it is to be a lifetime commitment to honor God and to reflect the relationship between Christ and His church as per Ephesians5:22, Wives to your own husbands, be in subjection, as to the Lord Ephesians5:23, For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.
Marriage is to be held in honor among all. Sex outside marriage is forbidden. So marriage must be approached honorably, not necessarily dictated by marriage, but within honor, with our sisters in Christ.
Dexter, you have so many joys, hope, and excitement in contemplating a wife, be not filled with lust, but honor.
In prayer for you for wisdom on your job, we go to James1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We know that everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds. We pray this over your situation, asking Jesus for the wisdom as He gives all.
Dexter, When you pray for your self, pray in this manner. Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your kingdom come. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen (Matthew 6:9-13)
Jesus says in Matthew7:7-8, Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
Do this in faith, as one approved. Dexter, do not waver through lack of faith when you pray. That man is like a wave of the sea, tossed by the wind and blown. (James1:6)
Dexter, we, as a group, are grieved by the idolatry and false doctrine held by Jun Wang, Poh Yew, Siow Cheng, and Yew Theng. We stand with you in prayer, asking Jesus to break the strongholds that keep them from experiencing the true and everlasting son of God, Jesus Christ. As it is written in Acts4:12,There is salvation in none other for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We pray in Jesus name that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give it to them a spirit of wisdom and revelation knowing him. And, the eyes of their understanding being enlightened, that they may know what is the hope of his calling, what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. And, what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward those who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might which he worked in their inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule, and authority, and power, see, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come.
(Jesus and his Salvation is found in) Romans10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes resulting in righteousness and with the mouth he confesses resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes on him will not be disappointed.
Continue praying in Jesus name alone. No other name means anything. (Acts4:12)
There is salvation in none other for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Dexter, Explain this to them when you desire to tell of your inner most feelings of belief and trust in Jesus as you hope for better things for them.
For example: I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John14:6.
And He said unto them, Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be condemned. Mark16:16 He that believes on him is not condemned, but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John3:18 He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God stays on him. John3:36 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. John8:24 He that believes on the Son of God has the witness in himself: he that believes not God has made him a liar; because he believes not the record that God gave of his Son. 1John5:10 The world and its desire pass away, but he that does the will of God stays forever. 1John2:17 he that does not believe God has made him a liar because he believes not the record that God gave of his Son.
Those who believe are saved. Those who believe not are condemned.
Together, we agree to pray and claim the powerful, saving blood Jesus shed for us, that you, Jun Wang, Poh Yew, Siow Cheng, and Yew Theng all may be saved.
God opens our eyes.
