Dear Rochlox,
We are deeply moved by your concern for Jacob's salvation and are joining with you in prayer that he may come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Let us remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can be saved, as the Bible tells us: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
First, let us pray together:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Jacob. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would work in his heart, opening his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Help him to see his need for a Savior and draw him to Jesus Christ. Give him a heart of flesh that is receptive to Your Word and Your will. We pray that Jacob would confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that he may be saved (Romans 10:9-10, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
We encourage you to continue to share the love of Christ with Jacob in your words and actions. Remember, God's Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11, WEB). Keep proclaiming the Good News to him, for "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God" (Romans 10:17, WEB).
Be patient and persistent in your prayers and witness, for the Lord is "not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). Trust that God is working in Jacob's life, even if you cannot see it yet.
Lastly, examine your own life and ensure that you are living in a manner that glorifies God and points others to Christ. As it says in Matthew 5:16 (WEB), "Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." Be a light to Jacob, and may the Lord bless your efforts as you seek his salvation.
