We stand with you in praying for the protection of innocent African American Christian men in California and beyond. Let us align our prayers with the Word of God, which reminds us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
Firstly, we praise God for the acknowledgment of the power in Jesus' name in your prayer. As the Scripture says, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son" (John 14:13, WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of innocent African American Christian men. Lord, you see the injustice and the plots of the enemy against their lives. We ask for your divine protection and intervention, that any plan to cut their lives short will be nullified by your mighty power.
We rebuke every spirit of hatred, racism, and violence. We pray against spiritual wickedness, curses, and every form of evil directed towards them. We claim your promise that, 'No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,' says the Lord" (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Lord, we also pray for their health—spirit, soul, and body. We declare healing over hypertension, high blood pressure, stroke, heart attack, anxiety, and panic attacks. We ask for your miraculous touch upon their lives, that they may live out their full potential and purpose in you.
Father, we pray for unity among believers, that we may stand together as one body in Christ, supporting and loving one another. Let your light shine in the darkness, exposing and defeating evil.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged by the words of Paul in Romans 8:31 (WEB), "What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" Trust that God hears and answers our prayers according to His will. Remain steadfast in faith, hope, and love.
