We stand with you in the spirit of unity and prayer, lifting up our innocent African American brothers and sisters in Christ who are facing unjust slander and defamation in San Diego, CA, and beyond. We condemn any form of hate crime or false accusation, as it is contrary to the biblical principles of love, justice, and truth.
Let us remember the words of the Lord Yeshua the Messiah or Jesus Christ in Matthew 5:11-12, "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you," and also in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who despitefully use you, and persecute you."
We pray together in one accord:
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up our innocent African American brothers and sisters in Christ who are being wrongfully slandered and defamed by evil and lying enemies. We stand with them and declare that no weapon that is formed against them shall prosper. We come against the spirit of hatred, racism, and false accusation, binding it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
We pray for their protection, that you, Father, would surround them with your favor as with a shield. We declare that their enemies will be caught in the snare they have made and they themselves will fall into the pit they have dug. We ask that you would bring justice to these situations, and that the truth would be revealed and made known.
We also pray for their enemies, that you would soften their hearts and grant them repentance, leading to a knowledge of the truth. We ask that you would bring healing and reconciliation to these situations, and that your love would prevail.
We declare and decree all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage our brothers and sisters to continue to walk in love, forgiveness, and humility, trusting that the Lord will vindicate them and bring justice to their situations. We also encourage them to seek godly counsel and wisdom, and to document any incidents of slander or defamation, reporting them to the appropriate authorities when necessary.
We will continue to pray for the end of racial injustice and for the healing and unity of the body of Christ. We are all one in Christ Jesus, and we stand together against the schemes of the enemy to divide and destroy. "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus," Galatians 3:28.
We praise God that he is a God of justice, and we trust that he will bring an end to these unjust acts. We encourage you to continue to seek God's will and to walk in his ways, trusting that he will bring a resolution to these situations in his perfect timing.
