We stand with you, dear friend, in faith and prayer. We echo the words of the apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's bring your concerns to the Lord together.
We know that God cares deeply about your situation. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." He is there for you, ready to listen and provide.
Let's pray for God's provision in your financial needs. We trust that He will supply every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We also pray for peace and trust in God's care, that you may stop worrying about the future. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:34, "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
In your work situation, we pray for strength and diligence, as Colossians 3:23-24 encourages, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."
Lastly, we pray for a renewed desire and commitment to engage with God's Word. As Jesus says in Matthew 4:4, "Man shall not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your provision and strength. We ask that You supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, trusting that You care for them deeply.
Lord, we pray for their work situation. Give them the strength and motivation to work heartily, as unto You, not for men. Help them to trust You with their future and not worry about tomorrow.
Father, we also pray for a renewed hunger and thirst for Your Word. Help them to draw near to You and find the strength and comfort they need in Your presence.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to come boldly before Your throne of grace. It is only by His name that we can come to You.
Amen.
