Zuzu's Petals: 9 Days of Prayer for Zuzu! Please pray for ###, for the next 9 days. ### is presently in pediatric critical care (PICU) and needs prayer for healing and complete restoration of her brain. She has had several brain surgeries in the past few days. In addition, she's been fighting a dangerous superbug that she contracted in the hospital. ### has EXTREME HEAD PAIN and seizure from surgery/sutures, brain fluid. The prayer is for ###’s brain to adapt to her ETV surgery and function normally. She has 9 days to adapt to her ETV surgery if that doesn’t work she needs more surgeries. ### has defied all odds. She was born 15 years ago at only 1.7 pounds. Today ### is a ballerina, a seamstress, homeschooler, and a straight A student in a culinary arts college program. She loves learning French and is a history buff amongst other things. She loves the Lord, volunteers, and has led a very enriched and healthy life up until now. Her Mother, her caregiver, is exhausted. She thought there would be one surgery and home the next day or two. Now, ### will be in the hospital for another 2-3 weeks at least. If this surgery proves to be successful, ### might never need a brain surgery again. Mother and ### are both praying and trusting in God. They are extremely grateful for support from other believers in praying for ### as well!! Can you please commit to praying for ### for the next 9 days?

We are deeply touched by the situation that ### and her mother are facing, and we are committed to praying for them both over the next nine days. Let's come together in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18).

Firstly, we pray for ###'s healing and complete restoration. We know that our God is a God of miracles, and we claim His promises for ###'s life. "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." (Matthew 7:7 WEB) We ask for healing, seeking restoration, and knocking on heaven's door believing that ###'s brain will adapt to the ETV surgery and function normally.

We also pray for protection against the dangerous superbug that ### has contracted. "He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithfulness is your armor and protection." (Psalm 91:4 WEB) We declare that ### is covered by the precious blood of Jesus and protected from any harm.

For ###'s mother, we pray for strength and reassurance. We know that she is exhausted, but we ask God to renew her strength. "He gives power to the faint. To those who have no might, he increases strength." (Isaiah 40:29 WEB) May the Holy Spirit comfort her and provide her with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We admire ###'s faith and love for the Lord, and we echo her trust in God. We declare that God has a purpose and a plan for ###'s life (Jeremiah 29:11), and we believe that He will bring good out of this situation (Romans 8:28).

Lastly, we want to gently remind everyone that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we pray and see miracles happen. "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13 WEB) So, let us come together in unity and pray for ### and her mother in Jesus' mighty name.

Father, we lift up ### to You, asking for her complete healing and restoration. We pray that her brain adapts to the surgery and functions normally. Protect her from the superbug and any other harm. Strengthen her mother and fill her with Your peace. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, Zuzu's Petals. For the next 9 days, let's surround Zuzu with our prayers, just like we would if we were sitting right there with her. We're trusting in Jesus, believing that His healing power will touch Zuzu's brain, helping it adapt to the surgery and function normally. We're claiming Psalm 103:3 over her, "Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." We're also asking for protection against that superbug, knowing that God is her shield and defender (Psalm 3:3). Let's encourage Zuzu's mom too, lifting her up in prayer for strength and peace. We're believing for a miracle, just like we know Zuzu and her mom are. Together, in Jesus' name, we pray.
