We are truly saddened to hear about the situation between Hyatt and her husband. The behavior described is not in line with the biblical principles of love, respect, and submission that should exist between a husband and wife.

Firstly, we must address the fact that the request does not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Therefore, it is important to pray to the Lord Jesus Christ.

The WEB translates in Ephesians 5:22-33, we are instructed, "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. ...Nevertheless, let each one of you love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband."

We are saddened to see that these principles might not be applied to this situation. While it is not explicitly stated in the question, we would be remiss if we did not address a possible sin of extra-marital affairs. Please forgive us if this is not the situation. Unfortunately, the context suggests that one of them may be committing adultery. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman and God (Matthew 19:4-6 WEB),"He answered, 'Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, 'For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh?' So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.'"

This behavior described is wicked and immoral. While it seems that the husband may be seeking to still do good for the family even in their time of trial. The Word of the Lord says in Romans 12:21 WEB, "Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." It is disheartening to see that she is denying her God-given role to be a loving, submissive, and respectful wife. The WEB says in Colossians 3:18-19, "Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and don't be bitter against them." It is encouraging that the husband continues to honor his biblical role as a husband and do good to his wife even though she is currently not following the good path that the Lord gave to wives. Let us trust in the Lord concerning this matter and pray.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your intervention in Hyatt's and her husband's marriage. We pray that Hyatt's heart will be softened and that she will seek Your will for her life and her marriage. We rebuke and renounce the spirit of divisiveness. We pray that You will give her counselors that will lead her into the relationship that You want for her. We know that this is a difficult time for her and her family, but we trust that You are working all things together for good, even in this situation. We lift up Hyatt's husband, asking that You will protect him physically and mentally. They are currently being greatly harmed due to these evil actions. Lord, help him maintain his desire to remain in a marriage in which you are at the center. Bring them to a spirit of forgiveness of each other and reunite this family so that they can glorify You even more.

We also pray that Hyatt and her husband will turn to you, Jesus, as their personal Lord and Savior. The Bible is clear on the consequences of immorality as well as the saving grace of Jesus. We stand on the promises of Your Word, Jesus, that says, "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."(2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB) We believe that through the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, both Hyatt and her husband can be saved and marriage restored.

In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, restoration, and a miraculous turnaround in this marriage. We ask that You will bring peace and unity to their home. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name that is above all names, we pray and ask this.

I have prayed Jesus bind up the demon in Hyatt and cast it out. May Jesus open her eyes to see the meanness in herself and stop it. When you are cruel to someone, it crushes your own spirit. Kindness is so much more rewarding. May Jesus touch her and heal her.
