We understand that you are seeking prayer for your husband, ###, to be transferred to a better district. We stand with you in prayer and petition this before God. Before we begin, we have some important things to say about your prayer.
Let us remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. So this delay and frustration may actually be God working something for good and His glory.
It is wonderful that you are concerned about your husband and what is best for him. Remember that God is ultimately the one who directs our steps and He does it according to His will and purpose. We should pray for His will to be done, and God's glory be brought about through it.
Let us also remember that our prayers should ultimately be for the will of God to be done and not just for our requests. In fact, we should keep record of our prayers so that we can look back and see how God has answered them in His will. It may not always be how we want, but He is always right and does what is best. God is not a spiritual Santa Clause. He is our Lord and our God. We pray for the purpose of advancing His will and His glory.
1 John 5:14: This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.
We must pray that God's will be done. That is what Jesus taught us to pray. Even in the model prayer in Matthew 6, Jesus taught "Thy will be done".
Concerning Jesus Christ and salvation:
Acts 4:12: Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved
John 14:6: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Therefore, let us pray.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. We pray that Your will be done in his life and that You direct his steps. If it is Your will, Father, we ask that You grant him a transfer to a better district, whether it be ###, ###, or ###. We pray for his frustration and ask that You grant him patience, peace, and endurance. Help him to trust in You and Your timing. We ask that You use this situation for Your glory and for the good of ### and his family. We pray for his faith and his walk with You, God, and we ask that You draw him closer to You during this time. Give him a fresh anointing and a renewed spirit to do the work that You have called him to do. We ask this all in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Continue to trust in God and His timing. Seek Him and His will with your husband. Pray together and apart for God's will to be done. Encourage your husband and be patient. God hears your prayers and will answer according to His will.
