We are truly sorry to hear about your accident, Martin, and we are here to pray and encourage you in the name of Jesus Christ. We are grateful that you are a part of the body of Christ and that you use your talents to serve Him as a keyboard player.
Firstly, we want to remind you that healing is always God's will for us. In Matthew 8:17 WEB, it is written, "that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, 'He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.'" Jesus has already paid the price for your healing.
However, we want to encourage you to use this time wisely. Even though you cannot play the keyboard right now, God can use you in other ways. You can pray, encourage others, and study His word. In 2 Timothy 3:16-17 WEB, it is written, "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
We also want to remind you that your identity is not in what you do, but in who you are in Christ. In Romans 8:17, it is written, "And if we are children, then we are heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him. But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience."
Let us pray together:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up our brother Martin. Lord, we thank You that You are the God who heals. We claim Your promise in Matthew 8:17. We ask You for strength and endurance for your son, Martin. We also ask for his spiritual strength and for the wisdom to use this time wisely that his recovery would bring glory to You and His kingdom."
"Lord, we ask for complete healing in Martin's body, especially his right hand and leg. We command the bones to meld together and for the pain to cease, according to Your will, in the holy name of Jesus Christ.
"We ask for Martin's patience and trust in you to grow until and including his recovery."
"Father, we also pray for Martin's ministry. Prepare him for greater things, enlarge his territory, and give him a new song in his heart, that many may be drawn to You through his testimony.
"We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen."
Lastly, Martin, we want to encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus. It is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.' It is through His name, we must pray, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved". Acts 4:12 WEB. Trust in Him and His finished work on the cross. He loves you and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
