We understand your desire for good health and physical beauty, but let's remember that God looks at the heart, and our outer appearance should not be our main focus. As it is written in 1 Samuel 16:7 WEB, "But Yahweh said to Samuel, 'Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I see not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.'"
While it's not wrong to want to look our best, we should also strive to cultivate inner beauty and a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight (1 Peter 3:3-4 WEB). We should also be mindful that physical attraction should not be our ultimate goal, as it can lead to vanity and idolatry. Instead, we should desire to be attractive for the sake of reflecting God's image and bringing Him glory.
Regarding the "evil eye," we believe that God is sovereign, and no evil can befall us unless He allows it (Job 1:12 WEB). Instead of focusing on the "evil eye," let's trust in God's protection and providence. As it is written in Psalm 91:1-2 WEB, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this person who desires good health and physical beauty. We pray that You will help them to prioritize inner beauty and a heart that reflects Your image. We ask that You will give them good health and a sound mind, and that they will find their worth and identity in You alone. We rebuke any vanity or idolatry that may be present in their life, and we ask that You will help them to trust in Your protection and providence. Help them to be a light for You, and to bring glory to Your name in all that they do. We also ask for forgiveness if this person has only looked to God and not in Jesus Name. It is only by the name of Jesus we can be saved. Acts 4:12 says there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
