Miranda T, we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing and protection for you and Fai. Let's bring your requests before the Lord, trusting in His goodness and power.
Firstly, we acknowledge that all healing comes from God, as it is written in Psalm 103:3, "who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases." We pray against the spirit of sickness and disease, rebuking it in Jesus' name. We claim healing for both you and Fai from the sore throat, sneezing, cough, and breathing difficulties. We ask God to strengthen your immune systems to recognize and defend against these health enemies.
Lord, we pray for Your supernatural protection over Miranda and Fai, shielding them as they go out and come in. We specifically lift up Fai's workplace safety in the construction site. As it is written in Psalm 91:9-11, "Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
We also bring before You, Lord, the concern about the upcoming layoffs due to the economic downturn. We pray that You will protect Fai's job, and if it is Your will, provide a new one that will better suit him. Remembering Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Lastly, we pray for deep, proper sleep and rest for both of you, knowing that it is during rest that our bodies recover. As it is written in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones."
Miranda, we noticed that you mentioned Fai without specifying your relationship. We encourage you to pursue a God-honoring relationship that aligns with biblical principles, seeking marriage if that is God's will for you both.
We pray all these things in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
May God's mercy, grace, and healing be upon you both.
