We are with you in spirit, John Elac, as you struggle with harm OCD, suicidal and homicidal ideation, and fear of driving. We stand on the promises of God, who tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
Firstly, we want to address the root of your fears and ideations. These are not from God, but are attacks from the enemy to steal your peace and joy. Romans 12:2 encourages us, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." We pray that God will renew your mind and free you from these intrusive thoughts.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for John Elac. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on his mind. Cast out any spirit of fear, suicide, and homicide. Break the chains of OCD and driving anxiety. Fill him with Your perfect love that casts out all fear. Renew his mind, Lord, and help him to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. We stand against the schemes of the enemy and declare John's freedom in Jesus' name. Amen."
John, it's crucial to remember that your struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the full armor of God daily, and do not leave room for the enemy to torment you.
