We are truly sorry to hear about the trial that you and your fiancé Dave are facing, and we are here to lift you both up in prayer and to provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of trusting in God's timing and provision. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:
"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
And also in Philippians 4:19 WEB:
"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
We pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, liftning up your children. We pray for Your healing hand to be upon Dave. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You touch his body and make him whole. We pray for Your divine intervention in his situation, that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. We ask that You would provide the resources needed to pay his hospital bill and for safe travel back home.
Lord, we also pray for strength and comfort for both of them during this time. We ask that You would fill them with Your peace, and remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We pray that their faith would be strengthened through this trial, and that they would continue to trust in You.
Father, we also pray for their upcoming marriage. We ask that You would bless their union and guide them as they prepare to enter into this sacred covenant. We pray that their marriage would be a testament to Your love and faithfulness, and that it would bring glory and honor to Your name.
Lord, we thank You for Your promises, and we claim them over their lives. We thank You that You are a way maker, a miracle worker, a promise keeper, and a light in the darkness. We thank You that You are faithful, and that You will never leave them nor forsake them.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
