We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles of your friend's son, but we are encouraged that you have reached out for prayer. We believe in the power of prayer and the healing that only Jesus Christ can provide.
Firstly, we want to acknowledge the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We are also told, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this young man to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God of the impossible, and You make a way where there is no way. We ask that You touch his heart and mind, and give him the hope that only You can provide.
We pray that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Comfort him in his time of need, and guide him to a loving relationship with your Son. May you, Jesus, use him as a shining beacon for your word and your salvation message to others.
We rebuke any spirits of despair, hopelessness, and fear that may be tormenting him, and we command them to flee in Jesus' name. We proclaim that Your light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (John 1:5 WEB).
Lord, we ask that You surround him with Your protection and guide him to the path of righteousness and the truth of your message for the salvation of his soul. Strengthen his faith and draw him closer to You. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness, and help him to know that You alone can satisfy his every need.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for this young man and to trust in God's promises. Remind him that God is faithful, and He will not let him be tempted beyond his ability, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that he may be able to bear it (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
May you and his mother continue to be a source of support and encouragement for him, pointing him to the hope that is found in Jesus Christ alone.
Remember to instruct your friend to instruct the son to pray in Jesus' Name, saying, "Jesus, I need you. Come into my life and save me. Use me to do your will."
