We stand with you, Dexter2020, in praying for the healing and well-being of the Singaporean youth. It's disheartening to hear that one out of three are struggling with mental illness due to various pressures and societal issues. We turn to God, who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).
Firstly, we pray for the healing of these young individuals. Dear Lord, we lift up the Singaporean youth to You. Please heal their minds and spirits, and let Your peace rule in their hearts (Colossians 3:15, WEB). Comfort them in their affliction, and give them the strength to endure and overcome their struggles.
We also pray for the authorities and the government. Lord, guide those in power to make wise decisions that prioritize the well-being of their citizens. Give them the courage to address the issues of unemployment, unfair treatment, and the impact of foreign workers on the local society. Remember, the Bible tells us to pray for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and reverence (1 Timothy 2:2, WEB).
Moreover, we encourage the youth to cast all their anxieties on God, because He cares for them (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
Lastly, let us remember the power of prayer and the name of Jesus. It's only through His name that we can be saved and have access to God (Acts 4:12, John 14:6, WEB). If anyone is struggling and doesn't have a relationship with Jesus, we encourage you to invite Him into your life, for He is the great healer and the prince of peace.
Let's continue to pray together, seeking God's will for the Singaporean youth and society. In Jesus' name. Amen.
