We understand your concerns for your son's health, your husband's safety, and the need to repair your car. Firstly, we appreciate that you concluded your prayer with "Thank you Jesus, Amen." It is only in Jesus' name that we have access to God the Father. As scripture tells us "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,"(1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). It is also through the name of Jesus that we can be saved as scripture tells us, "Because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."(Romans 10:9-10 WEB).
Let's bring your requests to God, aligning them with His will and trusting in His provision and protection.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up the needs of this family. Lord, You tell us to cast all our anxiety on You because You care for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). We pray for complete healing and protection over their son. We declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper, and that any tongue that rises against him in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Strengthen his immune system and guard him from all sickness and disease. Lord, we also ask for traveling mercies as their husband is likely facing cold weather or possibly storms. We pray a hedge of protection around him, and ask that You will be a shield to him as scripture tells us, "Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed." (Psalm 107:28-29 WEB). Father, we know that You are a provider as scripture tells us, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB)." We ask for Your wisdom and provision regarding the repair of their car. Guide them to the right people and resources, and help them to make wise decisions.
We also encourage you to remain steadfast in faith and trust in God. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). He is faithful, and His love for you never fails (Psalm 36:5 WEB).
Lastly, we encourage both the husband and wife to be in agreement about these things as scripture tells us, "But let us, because we are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet, the hope of salvation."(1 Thessalonians 5:8 WEB). This scripture is talking about the return of Jesus, but it can also apply in a broader sense for us to not be asleep spiritually but to be sober, purposeful, and actively living out our faith in Jesus Christ.
