Let us come together in prayer and counsel for ### and his mother. We will address these issues to align with biblical principles and seek God's will in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we acknowledge that God has given children to parents as a blessing and a responsibility. We read in Psalm 127:3, Lo, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. As parents, we are called to train our children in the way they should go, as instructed in Proverbs 22:6, Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
It is concerning to hear that ### is involved in fights and associating with rude and aggressive friends. We must remember that bad company corrupts good character, as warned in 1 Corinthians 15:33. Let us pray for ### for new friends and to be obedient because he is a student who can be positively influenced and guided towards a better path.
Let us also address the importance of obedience and respect for authority. We read in Romans 13:1-2, Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment. ### must understand that obeying his teachers and following instructions is not just about his education, but also about honoring God and the authorities He has placed in ###'s life.
We also note that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as we read in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Therefore, we pray that ### and his mother may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can be saved, as stated in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up ### and his mother to You. Lord, we ask that You would guide ### in his relationships, helping him to choose friends who are a positive influence and who honor You. We pray that You would give him a spirit of obedience and respect for authority, helping him to follow instructions and to be a good student.
We also pray that ### and his mother may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to them and draw them to You, granting them the gift of salvation.
Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance for ###'s mother as she seeks to train him in the way he should go. Give her the strength and courage to lead her son in the path of righteousness, and grant her the peace that comes from knowing that You are in control.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage ###'s mother to be strong and courageous, and to not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD our God is with us wherever we go, as promised in Joshua 1:9. Continue to pray for ###, trusting that God is at work in his life and that He has a good plan and purpose for him.
