Pray for healing and comfort for ###

Due to behavioral issues, my son ### is in a program. The medication was supposed to help him control his anger and focus on school. He isn't listening to staff, walks out of supervision, does his work/sleeps in class, but he's not listening in the program. As his mother, I wonder if I had done more for him, his life would be better now if I had.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing about ###. Let's come together in prayer and wisdom, seeking God's will for your son.

Firstly, it's crucial to understand that God has a purpose and plan for ###, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). As a mother, it's natural to wonder if you could have done more, but remember that God's grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Trust that God loves ### even more than you do, and He is working everything out for his good (Romans 8:28).

Let's address the behavioral issues and the program ### is in. It's important to pray for wisdom for the staff and for ###'s heart to be open to their guidance. As it is written, "A wise son heeds his father’s instruction, but a scoffer does not listen to rebuke" (Proverbs 13:1). Pray that ### will become a wise son who listens and obeys. Please know you are not alone in this.

Regarding the medication, while it can be helpful in managing symptoms, it's essential to seek God's guidance and wisdom. God's Word tells us that the Holy Spirit brings love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Pray that the Spirit will fill ### and help him to grow in these areas, alongside any necessary medical interventions.

Now, let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ###. Lord, You know the struggles he's facing, and You understand the pain his mother is feeling. We ask, Jesus, that You surround ### with Your love and guidance. Help him to listen and obey the instructions given to him in the program. Work in his heart, Lord, and bring about a transformation that can only come from You.

Father, we are not sure about the medication and the issue of school. So we are asking for wisdom and guidance about what to do for ###.

Please let them be aware that it is only by the name of Jesus that you are able to come before you God and ask for any form of assistance. In addition to asking for your help, we need to be sure and believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and our Savior and Lord. It is only through Jesus that we can be saved.

Father, we ask that You guide the staff working with ###, giving them the wisdom and patience they need to support him effectively.

Help ###'s mother to trust in Your love and Your plan for her son. Remove any guilt or condemnation, and fill her with Your peace and hope.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
