Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.
Now, let's lift up your son in prayer together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Chainel's son. Lord, You know the details of tonight's game and the desires of their hearts. We pray that You will help him build confidence, not just in his abilities, but also in who he is in Christ. Remind him of Your love and faithfulness, as it is written in Zephaniah 3:17 WEB, "Yahweh your God is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing."
Father, we also pray for unity and strength for the team. May they work together, support each other, and bring glory to Your name. We ask for a fair game and the best outcome according to Your will.
Lord, we also pray for the safety of all the players. May they compete in a way that honors You and keeps them from harm.
Father, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray together and seek Your will. It is in His name that we have the victory, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 15:57 WEB, "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
