ThanksWe are truly saddened to hear about your situation, Alyssa. We are here to pray and offer guidance according to the Word of God.
Firstly, we want to address the concern about your health. We believe in the power of prayer and that God can heal any disease. As it is written in the WEB, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." (James 5:14-15)
However, we want to gently remind you that physical healing may not always come in this life, but we can be assured that ultimately, every believer will be free from all sickness and pain in heaven.
Regarding the forgiveness of sins, we want to assure you that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins when we confess them to Him. As it is written, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)
But we also want to address the issue of sin in your life. While we do not want to make assumptions, we want to gently remind you that sexual activity outside of marriage is fornication, which is sinful in God's eyes. As it is written, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18)
We encourage you to examine your life and turn away from any sin. God's forgiveness is freely available, but it should not be taken lightly. We should strive to live holy lives, pleasing to God.
Lastly, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5) If you have not already, we urge you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and for eternal life.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up Alyssa. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand upon her body. If it is Your will, please heal her of this disease. Give her peace and comfort during this time. Lord, we also ask for forgiveness of her sins as she has confessed them to You. Help her to turn away from any sin in her life and to live a life pleasing to You. If she has not already, we pray that she would put her faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of her sins. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
