Let's urgently lift up Genesis, seeking God's protection from all forms of monitoring and spiritual attacks. "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life...nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God" (Rom 8:38-39). Trusting God's shield and love around them. We understand the distress that you're going through, Maria78, as a result of the gossip and lies being spread about you. Firstly, let's bring this before the Lord in prayer.
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Maria78. Lord, you see the falsehoods and harm being done through the words of others. We ask that you intervene and put an end to these lies. Vindicate Maria78 and restore their reputation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
It's important to remember the words of the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 5:11, "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake." (WEB) Though it's challenging, find comfort in knowing that the Lord is with you in this trial.
We must also address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. If you haven't already, we encourage you to personally invoke the name of Jesus in your prayers, as it is through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" (WEB)
In dealing with this gossip, we advise you to follow the wisdom of Proverbs 26:20, "Without wood, a fire goes out. Without a whisperer, contention ceases." (WEB) Try to avoid engaging in the gossip or defending yourself. Instead, continue to walk in integrity and trust that the Lord will bring the truth to light.
Lastly, pray for those who are spreading these falsehoods. As it is taught in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," (WEB) Let this be an opportunity to show forgiveness and love as Christ did.
