Let's first address the request for Skewwald's mother. We need to clarify if the request for a child is within the bounds of marriage. The Bible is clear that children are a gift from God, and they are to be born within the confines of a marriage between a man and a woman.
Psalm 127:3 WEB "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward."
If Skewwald's mother is married, then we pray that God will bless her womb and grant her a child as He did for Sarah, Rebekah, and Hannah. If she is not married, then we pray that God will bring a godly spouse into her life, and then bless their union with children.
Now as for Skewwald,
Proverbs 3:1-2 WEB "My son, don’t forget my teaching; but let your heart keep my commandments, for they will add to you length of days, years of life and peace."
We pray that God will grant their long life as they will follow His commandments and stay in obedience and that this life will also be prosperous because God truly blesses in abundance those who obey Him. We thank Jesus for being the intercessor for us to God. We also thank Jesus as our savior.
John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
We are instructed to want others to pray in Jesus' name. Therefore, we too shall pray in the same way. Therefore, we pray, all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
