Let us come and pray together for little Gabriel. This precious child is greatly loved by God, who knit him together in his mother's womb with his unique qualities and abilities. We are reminded that everyone is wonderfully made, and Gabriel is no exception.
Let us remember in Psalm 139:13-14 For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works, and that my soul knows very well.
As Gabriel navigates life with Autism and ADHD, we pray for divine intervention and guidance. We pray for wisdom for the parents, that God may show them how to care for Gabriel with compassion, consistency, and godly counsel. May they find encouragement and comfort in the promises of God's word. We are reminded of Paul's words to the Philippians in Philippians 4:13-19. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
We pray for Gabriel's impulsive behaviors, that God would help him to have the self-control to assess situations and respond in healthy ways. May God empower him to make choices that will help him grow in wisdom and maturity. Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. - Matthew 7:7-8
We pray for Gabriel's heart and mind, that God's peace would reign in his life, and that he would grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus. That he would know he has a Savior who loves him deeply and desires a personal relationship with him. Seek the LORD while he may be found. Call on him while he is near- Isaiah 55:6
We pray for Gabriel's education and social interactions, that God would provide caring and competent individuals to support him in these areas. We pray for his protection, that God would shield him from harm and keep him safe from physical, emotional, and spiritual danger. We ask for guidance for Gabriel's family, that they may make wise decisions regarding his care and future. We are reminded of the promise in Jeremiah 33:3 'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.'
We pray for Gabriel's salvation and that he may be filled with the Holy Spirit. We remember the words of John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.
We pray for Gabriel's future, that God would open doors of opportunity for him to use his unique gifts and abilities to serve others and bring glory to God's name. We ask all these things in Jesus' name and in the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
We encourage anyone who prays this as a believer to follow up with Gabriel and his family and ask for updates on his progress and how further to pray and encourage them.
