Shunka, let us come together in the name of Jesus and seek God's help and guidance for you in your time of need.
May we first remind you of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34, WEB: "Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one cubit to his height? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
We receive this reminder, Heavenly Father, and ask you to fill with a sense of peace and assurance in knowing that you care for even the smallest details of our lives.
We pray for Shunka's provision, that your divine favor may be upon her as she seeks funding for university accommodation and cost of living fees. Help all Christians and your people to be resourceful in the difficult and extreme situations that we may all find ourselves in. We ask that they will be generous in supporting her financially and through the use of general means, and that she will be responsible, wise, and watchful in all of her dealings and available resources that contribute to this pursuit in exhausting every possible source by any combination of use and the God's plan and method. May these include all supporters, even those in your employ, as all are in your hands. Give her strength and encouragement to persevere through her anxiety and to trust without reservation or limitation in your faithfulness with complete trust, as it is said in James 1:5:6, WEB: "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the God who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed."
And it may be a good time to remind Shunka of the assurance that all may have in trusting in Jesus. Remember Mark 16:16: He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned. These are the words of Jesus. We all have faith in different things in our lives and for us forgiveness of sins and faith in events like your provision can be strengthened by faith in Jesus. Jesus is the Word of God, God in flesh and he taught and spoke about love, compassion, and provision. God loved the world that he gave his only Son. Jesus took the penalty for our sin and it is only by believing in Jesus that our name is written in the book of life and we see the kingdom. By believing in Jesus as your lord and saver you gain access to God. It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and there is no other. There is no other name by which we can be saved. This is what Jesus taught.
Jesus said in Matthew 7:7-8, WEB: "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened," As Shunka seeks and knocks, Lord, we ask that you open new doors for her.
May Shunka be reminded of your love and promises, and may her heart be filled with your peace. Jesus promised in John 14:14, WEB: "If you ask anything in my name, I will do it" In Jesus name, if this is God's will .. we pray that your divine provision and support through all means including access to resources may be given in all abundance. Amen
