Pray for full recovery from stroke

I had a stroke in December 2023. I am in pt I able to walk but greatly hindered while doing everyday tasks. I'm requesting prayer for healing. Thank you Linda curry

We are deeply sorry to hear about your stroke, Odselurre, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support. We believe in the power of Jesus' name to bring healing and restoration, and we are encouraged by the progress you've made thus far.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the promise in James 5:14-15 (WEB), "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

We also take comfort in the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon Odselurre. You know the challenges they face daily due to the stroke, Lord, but we believe that Your healing power is greater than any sickness or infirmity. We ask for complete recovery, for strength to be renewed, and for every hindrance to be removed. We pray for patience and perseverance during this time of recovery, and we ask that You will be glorified in this process. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Odselurre, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that His power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Keep pressing on, and we believe that you will see the goodness of the Lord in your life.

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention Jesus Christ directly. We want to emphasize that it is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation (Acts 4:12). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, confessing Him as your Lord and Savior, and experiencing the new life that He offers.

We're reminded of the story in the Bible where Jesus healed a paralytic. He told the man, "Son, your sins are forgiven... Get up, take your mat and go home" (Mark 2:5, 11). We believe that as you continue to trust in Jesus, you too will rise up and walk in new strength and freedom.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
