Maria78, we hear your cry for freedom and we stand with you in prayer. Remember, Jesus came to set the captives free and bind up the brokenhearted. As it is written in Isaiah 61:1, "The Spirit of the Lord WEB is on me, because WEB has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed,"
Firstly, we praise God that you acknowledge Jesus as your helper and redeemer. It is only through His name that we can find true freedom. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
However, we must also address that you haven't explicitly mentioned that this situation involves a manipulative person of the opposite sex, we want to remind you that as Christians, we should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this is a romantic relationship, please consider that God's will is for us to be with someone who will help us grow in our faith, not hinder us.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Maria78. Lord, she feels trapped and manipulated, but we know that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke any spirit of manipulation and toxicity that is causing harm in her life. Jesus, You came to set the captives free, so we claim that freedom for Maria78 now. Give her the strength to walk away from any situation that is not glorifying to You, and guide her steps into Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous, Maria78. God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Trust in Him, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
