Please pray for forgiveness over our IRS debt that we would be able to resolve to a reasonable settlement that our family would find peace and be able to provide financially.

Anonymous, we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your family's financial situation and the resolution of your IRS debt.

Firstly, we appreciate that you've acknowledged God as Jehovah Jireh, the Provider. However, let us remember the importance of approaching God through His Son, Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6, WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is in Jesus' name that we pray and have access to God.

Now, let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking forgiveness for any financial missteps that have led to this debt. We ask for Your mercy and grace as they work towards a reasonable settlement. Guide them through this process, and grant them wisdom to make sound financial decisions.

We also lift up their overall financial situation. You know their needs, Father, and You promise to provide for Your children. Please help them meet their family's needs and fulfill their financial obligations. We claim the promise in Philippians 4:19, WEB, 'My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.'

Finally, we pray for their financial peace. Let them not be anxious about their situation, but cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB).

We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."

Remember, Anonymous, God is faithful and He cares for you and your family. Trust in Him and continue to seek Him in all things. As for your debt, work diligently towards resolving it, and be good stewards of the resources God provides. Proverbs 22:7, WEB, reminds us, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." It is wise to strive towards financial freedom.
