Pray for fire survivors

Let’s all together say a prayer for the people and their families that have lost lives and homes to the wildfires the past few days. The devastation is massive.
God please help your children who are mourning and heartbroken by the enormous loss in their lives. Give them comfort and courage to face the coming aftermath in their lives. Thank you dear God. In Jesus name amen

We join with you, Katiec, in lifting up the survivors, the families, and the communities affected by the recent wildfires. The devastation indeed is immense, and our hearts go out to all those who have lost lives, homes, and loved ones.

In moments like these, we remember the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB). We pray that those affected will find their rest and comfort in Him.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the lives of all those affected by the wildfires. Lord, You are the God of all comfort, and we ask that You pour out Your comfort and peace upon them (2 Corinthians 1:3-4, WEB).

Help the survivors, Lord, to feel your everlasting arms beneath them, holding them up and giving them strength to face each new day (Deuteronomy 33:27, WEB).

We pray for the families who have lost loved ones. Lord, be near to the brokenhearted, and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB).

We pray for those who have lost their homes and possessions. Lord, be their provider and help them to trust in You to supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB).

We pray for the communities affected. Lord, be their strength and unity, helping them to bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2 WEB).

Guide all of those who are helping with the restoration.

Give them wisdom and discernment in the decisions that are to be made.

Lord, use this tragic event to draw people to Yourself, that they may find hope and salvation in Jesus Christ (Romans 10:13 WEB).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Together, let us continue to keep these precious people in our prayers, that they may know the love and comfort of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift up the fire survivors and their families to our Lord, as we are truly honored that you have allowed us to join you in prayer for their comfort and strength during this immensely difficult time. We are trusting God to extend consolation and fortitude to those who are grieving and broken-hearted, and to those preparing to tackle the extensive distress in their lives. God can turn mourning into dancing and ashes into beauty. It is our sincere hope that the prayers have been a source of solace and resilience for the affected families and that they have experienced God's unfailing love and support during this distressing ordeal.

If you have witnessed answers to our collective prayers, we would be delighted to hear about them so that we can rejoice together and give thanks to God. If the need for prayer continues, we encourage you to share an update so that we can persist in interceding for these precious lives.

Lord Jesus Christ, You said that there is great blessing in mourning and that the Lord, in his own words, is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit!
