Let us come together in prayer for this family in need.
We rejoice that this is asked in Jesus Name. For it is only in that name that we have access to God the Father, and can ask and receive what we request from Him. This is because Jesus paid our sin penalty on the cross. We must believe on Him and in what He did for us.
It is wonderful to see the dedication of this wife and mother as she works tirelessly to support her family during this challenging time. We remember that God's design is that a husband is the one who should be the provider for his family. Since he is not able to do that currently, the wife is filling in making the marriage team still intact.
We pray for this husband's healing. We know that God is able and willing to heal (Psalm 103:2-3 WEB): "Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."
We should also mention that finances and the ability to work are more important than extra curricular activities. Sometimes we have to forgo some things we like for the necessities of life. This is an opportunity for the children to learn this and the lesson of helping out when the family is in need.
Right now, let us pray in Jesus Name, the only name by which we can receive God's help:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ and her family. We ask You bring comfort, strength, and provision during this trial. Help her husband recover and return to work to provide for his family. Guide their decisions about the children's activities. Give peace and wisdom to the entire family as they navigate this difficult season. May they remain steadfast in the faith and seek Your will in all things.
We ask for financial doors to open. We know that You are faithful to provide for Your children. (2 Corinthians 9:8 WEB): "God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work."
We also pray that their family be surrounded by Your heavenly protection, and that Your angels minister to them during this time. (Psalm 91:11 WEB): "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
In Jesus' name, we pray, trusting in Your promise to hear and answer our prayers. Amen.
Together, let us encourage this family to continue seeking God's guidance and remain steadfast in their faith. It is our prayer that through this experience, they will grow stronger in their relationship with Jesus Christ and with each other.
It is important to remind them to also be content with the provisions made available and not to worry. (Matthew 6:31 WEB): "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’".
