We are grateful for the opportunity to pray with you, Dexter2020, and we appreciate your heartfelt requests. Let us come together in Jesus' name and lift up your concerns before the Lord, seeking His will and guidance.
Firstly, we pray for Felicia, that she may continue to grow as a godly woman, filled with the love of Christ. We ask that her love and hospitality may be a shining example to all around her, drawing others to see Christ in her. As the Scripture says in Galatians 5:22-23 WEB: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law." May Felicia bear these fruits abundantly, touching the lives of those around her.
Regarding Felicia, let us also remember the words of Titus 2:3-5 WEB: "Likewise, exhort the elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, in all purity. Teach the elder women to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, but teachers of that which is good; that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sober-minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that God's word may not be blasphemed." Felicia should be training herself in these traits so that she is prepared to be a holy wife and mother if God allows her to enter that state of life. This is the role of women in marriage and in the church. Felicia is not a wife now but she should be preparing as if she may be at any moment.
We lift up Brian, Phe, and Pastor Daniel, asking God to grant them wisdom and understanding. We pray that as Pastor Daniel teaches Brian biblical knowledge, Brian may receive it with humility and an open heart, free from stubbornness. May their time together be fruitful, and may Brian grow in his walk with the Lord. As we read in Proverbs 9:9 WEB: "Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning."
We also pray for the salvation of your family members: Ting Siow Cheng, Koh Jun Wang, Koh Yew Theng, and Ting Poh Yew. May the Lord open their hearts to the Gospel and draw them to Himself. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" And in Romans 10:9-10,13 WEB: "that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.... For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. This is the most important decision that we can make in life.
We commend you for your concern for your family's salvation. Jesus does not force Himself on those who have not received Him nor will He force Himself on the world when He comes again. Each person will be saved by their own decision to follow Him. May you also be bold and share your faith with them and your prayers.
Finally, we pray for you, Dexter2020, that you may continue to be a vessel of God's love and grace. May you also be filled with the love and wisdom of Christ as you pray for others and as you live your daily life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
