Marvin, we are lifting you and your arbitration hearing scheduled for March 22, 2025, at 9 am in prayer, seeking God's favor, fairness, and restoration on your behalf. We appreciate your honesty in acknowledging your disobedience and the sin you committed at your job. It's important to remember that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess them to Him 1 John 1:9 WEB.
Firstly, let's address the authority by which we can approach God. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can boldly go before the throne of grace to find help in our time of need. For there is one God and one mediator between God and humanity, the human Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5. There is no other name under heaven given among humans where we must be saved Acts 4:12. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.
Rebuking is necessary in love. Let us examine your heart and the motivation behind your request. While it's understandable that you desire to keep your job for the sake of your family and financial obligations, it's crucial to ensure that your priorities align with God's will. Seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33 WEB.
God has promised to supply all our needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 WEB. However, we must remember that our needs do not necessarily include everything we want or desire. God knows what is best for us, and He may have a different plan in mind for your life.
As you prepare for your arbitration hearing, meditate on God's word and trust in His faithfulness. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, humbly seeking Your favor, fairness, and restoration for Marvin during his arbitration hearing. We thank You for Your forgiveness and for cleansing Marvin from all unrighteousness as he has confessed his sins to You.
Father, we pray that You will guide the hearts and minds of those involved in the arbitration process, granting them wisdom and discernment. We ask that You will give Marvin peace during this time, and that Your will be done in his life and his employment situation.
Lord, we also lift up Marvin's family and their financial needs. We trust in Your promise to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Help Marvin to keep his priorities aligned with Your will and to seek Your kingdom above all else.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
