The story goes from Daniel Chapter 3.
These 3 men Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
The bible says that these men made up their minds and made a decision. They will not bow down to any god.
Nebuchadnezzar the king had placed a god made of gold and said that anyone who does not worship shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
But these men had made their mind we will serve no god. Nebuchadnezzar was so furious, he said to bring these men and they bring them closer and Nebuchadnezzar said to them you do not bow to my gods.
These men said to king Nebuchadnezzar, there is no way we will bow down to your god. they made their mind, there is no way that they will bow their knees and worship the gods that are made from hands.
They said king Nebuchadnezzar serves one true God.
The bible says, king Nebuchadnezzar was so angry and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more. King Nebuchadnezzar's mighty men threw these 3 men into the fire.
But these men of God were just walking in the fire.
King Nebuchadnezzar said, didn’t we put three men in the fire, for I see the fourth man who is walking around in their midst.

Whatever fire you’re going through in life, it doesn’t matter what kind of fire whether it be sickness and health, financial needs, marriage, addiction, un-employed, or whatever the circumstance.

The narrative from these bible verses will reveal this to our understanding:
- Daniel chapter 3
- John 9:2 – 5.
- Mathew 5:14,16
𝑰𝒏 𝑫𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒆𝒍 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 3 – 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚, 𝒘𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒓 𝒄𝒊𝒓𝒄𝒖𝒎𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒏 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔. No matter what fire throws you in your life, just like the 3 men. They refuse to give and won’t bow and surrender and holding firmly to their faith that the God they serve will save them. The fire represents the negative situation.
In John 9:2 – 5. – Just like the story of the blind man in this bible passage, normally it would be the case as from our human understanding, we would be thinking It could be because of sin or sin in the past or from our parents that today’s generation is paying the price.
But it's not how Jesus sees it, look how he responds to it, Jesus answered, neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
𝑰𝒏 𝑱𝒐𝒉𝒏 9:2 – 5 - 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒂 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑮𝒐𝒅’𝒔 𝑲𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒅𝒐𝒎.
So use this situation in a positive way for the glory of God and his Kingdom.
Jesus is also referring to himself as the light of verses 4 to 5.

It is the devil that causes sin to enter mankind through Adam and Eve and Jesus has come, to reverse this – 1 John 3:8
When you’re set free from this bondage, you’ll be free indeed – John 8:32.
In Mathew 5:14,16 – Jesus has set an example and has given us his teachings.
Now we should follow the example and be that light to others that they may find hope and be encouraged.
It is our duty as Christian sisters and brothers to encourage others in times of need. When we have Christ in our life, all we feel is love and compassion. We must live by the example of Christ in our lives so that the people can see that light in us during dark times.

1. The Fire - is the circumstance of life. Don't give In, don't bow down, and don't give up. Stay true to your faith and believe in God in the midst of your difficulties and problems and it will come to pass.
