RockL, thank you for reaching out and sharing your prayer request, asking for Jesus' blessing on your family and guidance in your work.
We are encouraged by your prayer, it is right to ask these things of Jesus.
Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that it is wonderful that you prayed in Jesus' name. We have assurance that God hears our prayers when they are asked according to His will and in the name of Jesus. As the Bible says, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). So let us continue to pray with confidence, knowing that our prayers are heard through Jesus Christ.
Regarding your prayer for your family, we join you in asking God to bless them with happiness. We pray that your family would know the source of true joy, which is found in a right relationship with God. May they come to know the love of Christ and be filled the fullness of God. We pray for their salvation if they have not accepted Jesus Christ as savior. We pray that they will also be encouraged to ask for blessings from God through Jesus.
For your work, we pray that God would grant you wisdom and success. Remember that the Bible tells us that whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ (Colossians 3:23-24 WEB). We pray that you would find favor with God and man in your workplace, and that your efforts would bring glory to God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up RockL and their family. We ask that You would bless them with true happiness found in You and You alone. We pray for their salvation if they are not saved. We pray for RockL's work situation, asking that You would grant them wisdom and success. May they work heartily, as for You, and not for men. We ask all of these things in Your precious name, Jesus.
Amen.
Continue to cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
