We are glad to pray for you and your family, Wilicke. We will also pray for your new relationship, and we trust that it is one that honors God and aligns with His principles.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our families and relationships. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus tells us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He assures us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. Therefore, we should seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.
Regarding your new relationship, we pray that it is centered on God and His will. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, it says, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" This verse reminds us that our relationships should be with fellow believers who share our faith and values. We encourage you to pursue this relationship in a manner that glorifies God, seeking Him first, and ensuring that your bond is a godly courtship with marriage but only marry another Christian believer according to the scriptures .
We also want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. In John 14:13-14 WEB, Jesus says, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Wilicke, their family, and their new relationship. We pray that Your will be done in their lives, and that You would guide them and provide for all their needs, including financial breakthroughs.
Lord, we pray for Wilicke's new relationship. We ask that You would be at the center of this bond, and that it would be a godly courtship that honors You looking to get married. We pray that both individuals in this relationship are believers in Jesus Christ and Your word clearly outlines how you feel about marriage only being between a man and a woman and sex should not be a part of the relationship before marriage. We also demand that any spirits of lust and fornication are addressed and specifically pray that those spirits are cast out in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You would guide them as they seek Your will for their future together as husband and wife.
We pray all these things in Jesus' name, Amen (IJN).
Wilicke, we encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life and your relationship. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. If you have not already, consider studying the Bible together as a couple, and praying together regularly. This will help strengthen your relationship with God and with each other especially considering our previous comments on fornication and the appropriateness of marriage being between a man and a woman only.
