We understand that you are seeking prayer for your family and career advancement, as well as protection from those who may wish to harm or betray you. We also see your concern about recognition for your hard work at your company. Let's bring these concerns before the Lord in prayer and seek His will according to His word.
Firstly, it is so important to come before God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can come before God, be saved, and ask for His blessing and intervention.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention and blessings. We lift up this dear one and their family, asking for Your guidance and favor in their careers and business ventures. May You open doors that no one can shut, and may Your will be done in their lives.
Lord, You tell us in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Help this dear one to continue working diligently, as unto You, and grant them the recognition and advancement they deserve in their workplace.
Father, we also ask for Your protection over this family. Psalm 91:9-11 WEB says, "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your tent. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.".
We received this scripture for them to stand on and believe that they will be saved from people who want to see them fall.
But Lord, we also ask for something more. We ask that You bless them with the ability to forgive and show grace to those who have betrayed them. We know that forgiveness does not come naturally, but is only fully possible through Your Holy Spirit. Help them to forgive.
But we know that it is not enough to simply forgive. We must also bless those who curse us. So Lord, help them to be able to pray for those who have done them wrong and to bless those who have cursed them. We know this request will be a struggle for them, but we know that Your word says in Matthew 5:44 WEB, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,".
Father, we know that people who wish for this family to fall and betray them have more than likely been involved in gossip. So, we ask Lord that you forgive them for gossip and stop it from happening in the future. We know that gossip is evil and is spoken of in the bible in Romans 1:29-30 WEB, "being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil habits, secret slanderers, backbiters, hateful to God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,".
And Lord, some of those who have caused this family harm may not be saved. So, we ask Lord that you draw them to you so that they might be saved. For your word says in John 20:31 WEB, "but these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.".
Lord Jesus, we know that this dear one has been hurt by these people. So, we ask Lord that you heal their broken heart. For your word says in Psalm 34:18 WEB, "Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit.".
Lastly, Father, we ask for Your wisdom and discernment for this family, that they may walk in Your ways and make decisions that honor You.
We ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in faith and trust in the Lord's timing. Continue to seek Him with all your heart and to walk in obedience to His word. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. He is faithful, and His love for you is everlasting.
Lastly, we encourage you to be bold in your faith and share Jesus with others. Do not be ashamed of the name of Jesus.
