We are truly sorry to hear about the extreme paranoia you're experiencing, Astauran, but we are grateful that you have reached out for prayer and support. We are here to intercede on your behalf and to provide biblical encouragement. You mention the need for Jesus, that is true. However, it is only by believing in him and his death and resurrection, accepting his death on the cross for your sins and confessing this with your mouth and believing in your heart that we can be saved. It is good to hear that you recognize your need for Jesus. The Lord cares deeply about your situation and wants to heal and restore you.
First, let us address the issue of paranoia. The Bible tells us, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB. This means we need to trust God and pray to him through Jesus name in every situation.
It is also written, For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. This means any fear or paranoia that is relentless and overwhelming is not from God but possibly from our spiritual enemy.
We also need to examine ourselves and ensure we are aligned with God. We are instructed to test ourselves. It says, Test your own selves, whether you are in the faith; prove your own selves. Or do you not know as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you? Unless indeed you are disqualified. 2 Corinthians 13:5 WEB.
As for the counselors and medications, while they can be helpful in managing symptoms, true healing comes from God. We trust that He will guide you to the right help and healing in His perfect timing. Though it is commendable that you sought these resources, it is also important that you continue to pursue closeness to Jesus. We are instructed to seek Him first. We read, But seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus name, lifting up Astauran, who is struggling with extreme paranoia. Lord, You know the depth of their suffering and how it is affecting their daily life and relationship with You. We pray for Your healing touch upon Astauran. Cast out any spirit of fear and anxiety, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide Astauran to the right resources and professionals who can provide effective help and support. Draw Astauran closer to You, Lord, and help them to trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help Astauran to believe in Jesus as their savior and confess that belief with their mouth.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Astauran, continue to seek the Lord and His will for your life. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you. Trust in His promises and His unfailing love for you. Remember that He is always with you, even in the darkest of times. Be encouraged by these words from the Psalms, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 WEB.
Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust that He will see you through this challenging time. Also remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. It is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. So please ensure you are praying in Jesus name. If you are unsure, please feel free to ask.
