Humble Servant of All
Pray for ex Prime Minister ### of Singapore as he is acting like King Ahab in the Bible:

-Greed and Exploitation: Ahab's desire for Naboth's vineyard (1 Kings 21) demonstrates his willingness to exploit others to satisfy his own greed, similar to how a government might prioritize foreigners as that bring him wealth through tax over local citizens.

-Influence of Others: Ahab was heavily influenced by his wife Jezebel (HC), who encouraged him to pursue idolatry and injustice. This could reflect how leadership decisions can be swayed by external pressures, neglecting the needs of the local population.

-Idolatry and Corruption: Ahab's reign is marked by idolatry and moral decline, leading to suffering among his people. If a leadership prioritizes economic gain over ethical governance, it resonates with Ahab’s neglect of spiritual and social responsibilities which in currently happening in ###.

-Social Consequences: The consequences of Ahab’s greed and actions led to societal unrest and divine judgment, illustrating how neglecting the welfare of citizens can have broader repercussions in ###.

We understand your concerns about the former Prime Minister ### of Singapore and the parallels you've drawn with King Ahab from the Bible. Let us address this situation in prayer and according to biblical principles.

Firstly, let us remember what the scripture says about leaders and their responsibilities. In Romans 13:1-4 (WEB), it is written: "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment. For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the authority, for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn’t bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil."

However, when leaders act unjustly, we are encouraged to pray for them and seek God's intervention. In 1 Kings 21, we see the story of Ahab and Naboth's vineyard, a clear example of greed and exploitation. Let us pray for ###, that he may be convicted of any such actions and turn towards just and righteous governance.

**Prayer:**

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the former Prime Minister ### of Singapore to You. Lord, if there is any truth in the comparison with King Ahab, we pray that You would convict his heart and turn him away from any form of greed, exploitation, or idolatry.

We pray for the leadership of Singapore, that they would prioritize the needs of their citizens, acting with integrity and righteousness. Guide them, Lord, to make decisions that promote the welfare of the people and the nation.

We also pray for the citizens of Singapore, that they would seek Your face, trusting in Your sovereignty over all things. May they find comfort and hope in You, and may they be guided by Your Holy Spirit to act according to Your will.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for your leaders, as instructed in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (WEB): "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."

Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Therefore, let us always pray and intercede in the name of Jesus.

Lastly, let us not judge ### harshly, but rather, let us leave him to the counsel and judgment of God. As it is written in Romans 12:19 (WEB), "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"

May God's will be done in Singapore.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
