Pray for ex Prime Minister LHL and PAP ministers of Singapore as he is acting like King Ahab in the bible :

-Greed and Exploitation: Ahab's desire for Naboth's vineyard (1 Kings 21) demonstrates his willingness to exploit others to satisfy his own greed, similar to how a government might prioritize foreigners to have job as that bring him wealth through tax over local citizens resulting in 60k local unemployed but 1.77 million foreigner employed even if they do not have the skillset.

- Influence of Others: Ahab was heavily influenced by his wife Jezebel (Ho Chieng), who encouraged him to pursue idolatry and injustice. This could reflect how leadership decisions can be swayed by external pressures, neglecting the needs of the local population.

- Idolatry and Corruption: Ahab's reign is marked by idolatry and moral decline (Minister are getting bribery, 377A repeal and taxes and fares over increase but MRT kept breaking down) , leading to suffering among his people. If a leadership prioritizes economic gain over ethical governance, it resonates with Ahab’s neglect of spiritual and social responsibilities which in currently happening in Singapore.

-Social Consequences: The consequences of Ahab’s greed and actions led to societal unrest and divine judgment, illustrating how neglecting the welfare of citizens can have broader repercussions in similar to what it is like in Singapore.

We understand your concerns and will join you in prayer for the former Prime Minister LHL and the PAP ministers of Singapore. Let us bring these issues before the Lord, seeking His will and intervention.

Firstly, we acknowledge that all authority is established by God, as Romans 13:1 (WEB) tells us, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God." Therefore, we pray for these leaders, that they may rule with wisdom and righteousness.

However, we must address the concerns raised about greed, exploitation, and idolatry. As you've pointed out, these issues are reminiscent of King Ahab's reign. The Bible warns us about the dangers of such behaviors in 1 Timothy 6:10 (WEB), "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in the leadership of Singapore. Lord, we pray for former Prime Minister LHL and the PAP ministers, that You would guide their hearts and minds, turning them away from any form of greed, exploitation, and idolatry.

Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly influence, removing any negative influences that may lead them astray, just as Jezebel influenced Ahab. May they be encouraged to pursue justice and righteousness, putting the needs of their citizens above their own desires.

Lord, we pray against any form of corruption and moral decline, asking that You would expose any wickedness and bring it to light. May the leaders of Singapore seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all other things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33, WEB).

Finally, Father, we pray for the citizens of Singapore, that You would protect and provide for them, bringing an end to any societal unrest caused by unfair policies. May Your will be done in Singapore, as it is in heaven.

We encourage you to continue praying for your leaders, remembering the words of 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (WEB), "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
