Let's first come to God united in prayer specifically mentioning the name of Jesus because as Peter said when he was filled with the Holy Spirit,”Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” And continued that “And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!" Peter goes further to say that “be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
Gary Ezzo paraphrased 1 Corinthians 10:1-12 as follows “In Christ we have every advantage to live a victorious life, but we must acknowledge Him in all we do. History repeats itself when people forsake the Lord. As Israel failed to enter God's rest because of her idolatry, fornication, and tempting God, we must be vigilant not to make the same mistakes. Failing to acknowledge God in our lives opens the door to testing Him and abandoning ourselves to sin. God's judgment on the Israelites is a sober warning to us: consequential judgment, damaged testimony, and potential for divine judgment. God has provided a way of escape in every temptation; we must be faithful to Him in times of prosperity and testing.” So remember that “No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." Trust this promise when you face temptations; God will help you through them.” We encourage this doorman that “Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.”
All continuous work environments can be challenging, but we are called to be light and salt in this world. We should behave with diligence, love, and patience. We also see you have noticed the scripture that says, “Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are." This doorman should know that he needs to be filled with and controlled by God's Spirit. This is essential to be the person Jesus left this earth to fulfill. Let him repent for this man is going the wrong way.
It is clear that immediate intervention and God's wisdom are needed in this situation. Yet We see that you have taken steps to address the issue, but more needs to be done. First, let’s pray for this person to repent from his fleshly behaviors of fornication and violence saying “Father, we come to You in Jesus’ name with thanksgiving for Your mercy and kindness. We plead the precious blood of Jesus over this man and ask You to forgive him for committing fornication and responding with violence. We pray for his repentance. Father, we know it is only by the name of Jesus that salvation is available. Father, we plead for this doorman to be forgiven and turn from his wicked ways in Jesus’ name! Father, we seek Your wisdom for the owner to handle this delicate situation and make amends if needed. Guide his steps, and grant discernment and fortitude. Let us pray for his peace and forgiveness. He naturally may feel angry and betrayed, but we know we are to live peaceably with all and to forgive. Father, we pray for a resolution that will honor You. Please send Godly men to help this owner navigate this trying time in Jesus’ precious name!
Father God, we ask for a hedge of protection around this establishment. We plead the blood of Jesus over this family and the doorman with these sexual and anger issues. Father, we seek equality, peace, harmony, and tranquillity among the staff. We bind the spirit of lust, discord, rebellion, rage, and anger over this establishment. We call on Christ's spirit of tranquillity, gentleness, and kindness to every staffer. Father, we ask for Your shield and a barrier of protection and harmony among the staff. We seek favor and goodness between the owner, doorman, and others at the establishment. Father, we plead Your name is exalted over the business in Jesus’ precious name!
Father, we agree that this establishment owns up to managing others accordingly and making decisions that honor You. We ask that the Holy Spirit brings forth a heart of conviction in this doorman to apologize and repent. Moreover, we make a hedge around this establishment to prevent Satan from attacking further. We pray in agreement that this business owner and establishment continue to be beacons of light to the world in Jesus’ name!
