"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Dachthald and their family. Lord, they are in desperate need of Your provision and intervention. We ask that You open the doors for their son and his wife to find gainful employment. Guide them in their search and equip them with the skills and wisdom they need. Lord, we also pray for Dachthald's granddaughter, that her needs may be met. We ask for wisdom and discernment for Dachthald as they manage their finances, and we rebuke any spirit of theft or manipulation that may be at work in their family. In Jesus' name, we pray for peace, provision, and restoration. Amen."
We understand your despair, but we want to remind you of God's promise: "'For I know the plans I have for you,' says Yahweh. 'Plans for good, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future'" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Hold onto this hope and trust in God's plan for your family.
We must also address the escalating financial mismanagement. The Bible is clear about the importance of honesty and integrity in all matters, including finances: "Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than he who is perverse in his ways, even though he is rich" (Proverbs 28:6 WEB). It is crucial to set boundaries and have open conversations with your son and his wife about responsible money management and the importance of honesty.
It is also important to remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Ensure that you are seeking God's will in all matters, including employment and family relationships, in the name of Jesus.
Lastly, if you find yourself considering the "easy way out," please reach out to us or a trusted counselor immediately. God promises that He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5 WEB), and there is always hope in Him.
