Thank you, Brother in Christ (JC), for your heartfelt prayer and for standing in the gap for all the members on this forum, along with their families and loved ones. It is truly a blessing to see such love and concern for others, as God has called us to bear one another's burdens. We are reminded in Galatians 6:2 WEB, "Bear one another's burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ."
We join you in praying for the forgiveness of sins and the ability to forgive those who persecute, as our Lord Jesus Christ taught us in Matthew 6:12,14-15, WEB, "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.14 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
We also agree with you in praying for victory in every challenge, deliverance from evil and hopelessness, protection, restoration, and provision. These are all found in God's promises to us, as seen in 2 Corinthians 2:14 WEB, "Now thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ," and in Psalm 91, which speaks of God's protection over His people.
We must always remember that our prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, as Jesus Himself taught us in John 16:23-24 WEB, "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. 24 Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."
Let us continue to uphold each other in prayer, trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness. We encourage everyone to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and to keep praying in accordance with God's will, as we are reminded in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB, "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 15 And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Lastly, we should all encourage each other and build each other up as we see in 1 Thessalonians 5:11 WEB, "Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do."
Thank you again for your prayer, Brother in Christ (JC). May the love of God be with us all, and may we all remain steadfast in our faith and in our love for one another.
