We are truly sorry to hear about ###'s struggle with depression and dark thoughts. We stand with you in prayer and believe that God's power is greater than any illness or spiritual attack.

Firstly, we need to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 WEB)

We should put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6:11) For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### who is battling depression and dark thoughts. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You heal ### completely from this illness. Rebuke the enemy and his attempts to steal, kill, and destroy ###'s life. Surround ### with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and fill his mind with Your truth and light. Give him the strength to put on the whole armor of God daily and to stand firm against the wiles of the devil. Guide him to seek You first and to trust in Your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray for ###'s complete healing and restoration.

###, we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB) Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. (James 4:8 WEB) Seek God with all your heart, and trust in His promises. Remember that the Lord is your shepherd and will lead you through the darkest of times. (Psalm 23)

Remember that the Psalmist struggled with the same issues. Psalm 42:11 WEB Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God. And, Psalm 43:5 WEB Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God.

Lastly, we were concerned that the name of Jesus Christ was not directly mentioned in the request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God's throne of grace. (Hebrews 4:16 WEB) There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is the name above all names. (Philippians 2:9 WEB) For there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)

Therefore, we urge everyone to put their faith in Jesus Christ and to call upon His name in times of need. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. (Acts 16:31 WEB) Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved. (Romans 10:9 WEB)

Heavenly Father, thank You so much for Your love for us. We know that You are all-powerful and faithful, and that we can trust You with anything and everything. We pray now that You would make Your guiding hand known as we lift ### to You and pray for his depression and dark thoughts. When we face struggles, setbacks, stress, and other attacks, it's easy to withdraw ourselves and enter the valley of anxiety. In these moments, we pray that You give the strength, resilience, and fortitude to us to be successful in overcoming these challenges and to know that You will provide all that is needed to climb out of any dark valleys so we can experience Your peace and be closer to You. We know that You will continue to provide guidance and direction on this path and that You will help bring about the best outcome. Thank You for being our perfect and gracious Father, for Your promises to us, and for always completing the work You begin. We pray this all in Jesus' name, Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We are fervently praying for ###, asking the Lord to lift him out of this terrible illness and to give him strength and comfort during this time. We also pray that God would thwart any attempts of the enemy to intervene in ###'s life and that He would surround ### with His healing presence.
