We are grateful to hear that Dennis reached out to you from jail, and we are here to pray and offer biblical encouragement for both of you. Firstly, it is wonderful that you mentioned the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name by which we can be saved. Let us come together and approach the throne of grace and mercy:
Father God of Heaven, In the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up Dennis to You, Lord.
We thank You that even in the most difficult of circumstances, You are always with us and for us. We pray for Dennis's strength and endurance during this challenging time. And remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, a descendant of David. This is my Good News, for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God’s word is not chained. Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sake, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. - 2 Timothy 2:8
You are never far from Your children, and You see every injustice and every hardship. We ask You to bestow wisdom, grace, perseverance, and peace upon Dennis.
In the same way the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered.- Romans 8:26.
Lord, be near to his heart while he is in jail. Let his time there not be wasted but used for Your glory. We ask that you keep him healthy, safe physically, and spiritually strong also surrounding him with angels as it is written:
The Lord will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. - Psalm 91:11.
We ask You to do a mighty work in Dennis's life and in the lives of those around him. Let his life be a testimony of Your trustworthiness and faithfulness. Use this trial to grow him spiritually. In Jesus' holy name, we pray that he can be delivered from evil.
Keep us from falling, and present us faultless before the presence of your glory in great joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. - Jude 1:24-25.
To Valfyl, we encourage you to stay strong and steadfast in prayer and support for Dennis.
