We understand the deep longing and concern you have for your son, Dennis. It's beautiful to see your love and care for him, and we join you in praying for his wellbeing and safety.
Firstly, let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Dennis to You. We don't know where he is, but You do, Lord. Please keep him safe, and let Your angels watch over him. Touch his heart, Lord, and let him feel Your presence and love. We pray that You would move in his life, guiding him back to his family and to You. Give Valfyl peace, Lord, trusting that You are taking care of her son. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We are encouraged by the promise in Psalm 139:9-10 (WEB), "If I take the wings of the dawn, and settle in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there your hand will lead me, and your right hand will hold me." God is with Dennis, no matter where he is.
We also want to gently remind you, Valfyl, that while angels are indeed ministering spirits (Hebrews 1:14), our prayers should be directed to God alone, in the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to pray in Jesus' name because it's by His name that we have access to God (John 14:13-14).
Lastly, we encourage you to trust in the Lord, knowing that He loves Dennis even more than you do. In Isaiah 43:1-3 (WEB), God promises, "Donβt be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you." Trust that God is with Dennis, and He is working in his life.
